PHOTOGRAPHY

For the past few months our centre in partnership with photostart has engaged our children in classes as part of developing skills at an early age. On 10th of december 2022 a total of 22 children graduated and were certified for having participated and excelled in their practical, field and theory evaluations. Photography for these children is more than just a hobby. It’s a way of learning about the world, capturing moments, and inspiring creativity. As such, introducing photography to children at a young age is an invaluable tool in their development.

Here’s why we chose to expose our children to photography skills early:

• Develops Skills: Photography can help children develop a variety of important skills. It can help them to hone their attention to detail, as they learn to look for interesting subjects and capture the right shots. It can also help them to develop problem-solving skills, as they learn how to adjust settings to get the desired results. Finally, it can help them develop their creativity as they learn to take unique and interesting photos.

• Enhances Their World: Photography can help children to learn to see the world in new and interesting ways. By taking photos of their surroundings, they can learn to appreciate their everyday life in a way they might not have before. It can help to open a door of curiosity and exploration and inspire them to look for new and creative perspectives.

• Creates Connections: When children learn photography, it can help them to grow closer to their family and friends. By taking photos together, children can create memories that last a lifetime and foster stronger relationships with the people around them.

• Develops Confidence: Learning photography can also help to build a child’s self-confidence. As children begin to take better and better photos, they will feel proud of their accomplishments and their self-esteem will grow.

• Teaches Discipline: Photography can also help children develop discipline and perseverance. As they learn to adjust their settings and experiment with different angles, they’ll learn to push through challenging tasks and practice patience.

Introducing photography to children at a young age can be a great way to help them develop important skills and foster creativity. It can help to open their eyes to the world around them and create lasting memories with their loved ones. So, why not consider introducing photography to your child today?
